In 1814, the French mathematician Pierre-Simon Laplace in a thought experiment suggested the existence of a rational being who could predict the evolution of all the particles in the universe both in the future and in the past, if knew their position and speed at the current moment.

Of course, this is impossible, since the creature should have an unimaginable computing power, and because the idea contains a paradox (taking on the calculation of the first result, the creature would have to process all the results until the end of time, since the first calculation already contains the prediction of the second and so on ).

But the idea itself is highly attractive. How many times have you happened to be late or come earlier and meet unexpected people / circumstances on the usual route. Some of them were nearby all the time, only your paths did not intersect, while each of you adhered to the same time frames and routes.

A top view might help. Imagine that you see a familiar map of your reality from a kind of God perspective (or a demon, according to Laplace).

Characters: Ego (aka yourself) Love of your life A thief A person you’ve not become A chance A failure Sudden Death A temptor A menthor The free will presence is rather ghostly; at the very beginning you provide a number, which influences start positions and movement of the elements according to unexplained dependence. Each meeting sums up the brief period of your life, focusing on what you failed, with a share of irony and bitterness.
